Join us for an outstanding Angora Goat show experience, educational opportunities, fellowship, and fun. You will not regret it!
Goat Check-In
Angora Goats may arrive and check in during the following times:
- Thursday: 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
All Angora Goats must have permanent identification for the veterinarian's health inspection. Acceptable identification includes an ear tag or tattoo.
Friday Activities
Educational classes will be offered throughout the day Friday, featuring a variety of speakers and learning opportunities. Planned topics include:
- How to Show a Goat
- Additional classes to be announced
A potluck dinner will be held Friday evening.
Saturday Activities
The Angora Goat Show begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning, and will conclude with the costume contest. Cash prizes will also be awarded.
Because there is no required shearing date, a recommended minimum fleece length of 2 inches is encouraged.
A shearing class will be held following the show.
Our Saturday evening group dinner is still to be determined.
Sunday Release
Exhibitors may be released beginning at 4:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
