Colored Angora Goats Breed Standard

The CAGBA Breed Standard defines the ideal by which Colored Angora Goats are judged for registration and breeding. It establishes clear expectations for conformation, fleece quality, and overall breed character, helping maintain the integrity and consistency of the breed across North America. The Colored Angora Goat is still being developed and improved. The Breed Registry is an Open Registry. This means Angora Goats can be inspected and entered into the Registry. The Breed Standard reflects this, outlining the quality standards for admission. Refer to the criteria below to understand what qualifies as acceptable for registration — and what disqualifies an animal from inclusion.
